On July 12th and 13th 2018 SESBA conference took place at the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Egaleo “Hellenic Pencil”, in Athens (Greece) entitled “Social Enterprises’ business advising in contemporary Europe: Challenges and possibilities”. Local stakeholders, business advisors, social entrepreneurs, journalists, representatives from the Hellenic Ministry of Labour, Social Insurance and Social Solidarity, university professors, NGO members and people interested in social economy as well attended the conference.
Conference sessions focused on the support of Social Enterprises: needs and policies for social economy organizations, business advisors and their role in the support of social enterprises, SESBA project and up-skilling for business advisors, practices and initiatives for the support of social enterprises and inspiring examples of social enterprises. After presentations and discussions took place about innovative supportive approaches and networking practices for social enterprises.
Dimitra Papadimitriou, University of Patras Partner presented InTSEnSE Erasmus+ project referring to its scope, outputs and dissemination. Discussion with various stakeholders took part after the presentation. The InTSEnSE project scope gained the interest of the conference attendees while many of them are waiting for its results.
